You pee in a little plastic cup which is then sealed and sent for testing. They check to be sure there are no illegal drugs in your body by seeing what is/is not excreted in your urine. Be very sure to tell them any prescribed meds you take or have taken in the last 30 days or so (bring the bottle or a letter fron the dr) and also any herbals or supplements or over the counter meds. You will NOT be ruled out for taking a pain med if it is prescription and you tell them up front. You will be ruled out for the same med if you do not tell them . Test is for a wide variety of substances. BTW ppl may tell you various things that are supposed to make you pee clean opf drugs even when you have used them.
